I knew Lauren & Regee were going to be awesome people to work with the first time I met them. I often meet couples in a "blind-date" like setting of a coffee shop. I usually say something like, "look for the girl in the bright blue coat!" to aid in us finding each other. Although this time, Lauren texted me and said, "Look for the girl with the purple hair!" It of course made it very easy to meet up, and I also knew from that moment that we would get along quite well. Throughout our conversation about their amazing Loveland wedding they are having in May, and learning that Lauren was a hair and make-up artist, it became even more clear that we were made for each other. I was so excited when they told me Regee proposed to her in a canoe and my mind went wild with ideas of the awesome engagement shoot we could create. We had so much fun running around in the fall colors and I jumped into a pair of waders to get chest-deep in pond water to take canoe shots-- I could not have been any happier than squealing behind my camera as the evening turned into an incredible sunset--casting a golden glow over the blue water. It was all I could do to keep from dropping a lens into the water out of excitement! It was such an amazing shoot that we even re-created parts of it a few weeks later to be featured in a behind-the-scenes video for my business. Lauren & Regee-- you two are awesome people and I can't wait for the many more adventures we will have together!
